Weekend Warmup #185

Jib Pirate | Zak Mousseau

From Forbidden Bike Company: Landings? Optional. Jibs? Most definitely. Dogs? Check. Wild creativity? You betcha'. Everyone’s favourite Jib Pirate is back at it with a full part, exploring his home in the east Kootenays through a different lens. For Zak, the ideal riding spot almost doesn’t look like a riding spot at all… until it does, and we love that. Embrace the weirdness, and ride differently.

Silent Biking Bobsled on Mt. Fromme in North Vancouver

From Mahalo My Dude: Bobsled is the #1 globally ranked mountain bike trail on Trailforks. Chill out in the forest on a popular North Shore classic.

KRISS KYLE - TURKISH DELIGHT

From Kriss Kyle: 240 miles northwest of Gobekli Tepe lies the region of Cappadocia, Turkey. Millions of years ago this region was transformed by a series of volcanic eruptions, leaving layer upon layer of volcanic ash that compressed over millennia leaving behind this other-worldy landscape. In this mountain bike film Kriss Kyle tackles all 4 seasons in this strange and wonderful place.

CIRCLES - Brett Rheeder

From Commencal Bikes: In his new edit - CIRCLES - Brett Rheeder pushes the production level up a notch by partnering with well respected director Clay Porter. This short film is an ode to freeride in all its forms. From scouting the Atacama Desert and Queenstown areas, to finding pristine faces to ride, to big air DH sessions in the ancient forests of British Columbia and Patagonia… Brett lets his pure talent and style shine through, behind the handlebars of a UNIQUE SUPREME DH V5, specially created for the occasion.

The Final Send

Following cost challenges associated with Brexit and international air freight charges, WiggleCRC, who has been in a state of financial turmoil for quite some time, has announced the closing of it's international webstore. The decision has thus been made to pivot the business to focusing exclusively on the UK domestic market, which accounts for 85% of its revenue at present.

ISLAND FLOW: Nils Heiniger rides Vancouver Island's finest trails

From Rossignol Bikes: Nils linked up with our Rossignol bikes ambassador, Max McCulloch. Local rider from beautiful Vancouver Island, Max knows every single trail like the back of his hand. But what really makes Max stand out is his insane talent both in front and behind the camera. He makes everything look like a breeze and we're stoked to have him on the team.

Close-Up w/ Elena Hight

From Arcteryx: Elena Hight burst onto the snowboarding scene at a young age and quickly gained recognition for her talent and innovative riding style. Elena made history by becoming the first woman to land a double backside alley-oop rodeo in competition. Competing on both the Winter X Games and the Winter Olympics. Her dedication and achievements have solidified her status as one of the top female snowboarders in the world. Off the slopes, Elena has found balance in yoga, meditation and enjoying the simple pleasures of life.

'Timeless' Hector Spencer-Wood / BSD BMX

From BSD BMX: Just like the Vans on Hector’s feet or the denim on his back, riding like this just never goes out of fashion. Style for miles at Saughton, KG, East Kilbride, Cowdenbeath and Livingston skateparks and Glasgow’s Arches DIY. This is Hector Spencer-Wood, ‘Timeless’… Enjoy!

TOP TO BOTTOMS! Darkfest Ep. 3

From Dylan Stark: In this video of Dark Fest 2024, I start the video off being able to ride again from sitting out the past few days of DarkFest. Once I was able to ride again all I wanted to do is just do top to bottom runs with the homies, one of the best feelings in the world just floating thru the air and cruising the biggest mountain bike jumps in the world with your friends yelling while also jumping. Words can't describe how rad it feels and these jumps are the best in the world. Thanks so much to Sam Reynolds for inviting me out this year to Darkfest it really was one of the best weeks of my life!
